Saturday – Wraggs Mall – 342 Meeting St. – 6pm

Join us to mourn and honor the nine Black lives that were taken and raise your voice in call for justice. This is a peaceful solidarity event in support of the families of the victims, and our whole community.

Please:
Bring a flower to leave at Mother Emanuel AME.
Ride your bicycle (if you have one).
Wear black, in mourning.

Plan to walk a mile from Wraggs Mall to our final destination. We will march to commemorate the lives lost in the massacre at Emanuel AME and all Black lives lost in Charleston over the past year to police or vigilante violence (including Denzel Curnell and Walter Scott).

As we pass Emanuel, each person will leave a flower at the memorial. Finally, as we march towards our final destination, we will amplify our voices to name the injustice of this massacre.

Speakers and artists will speak to the crowd at the beginning and the end of the march.
